Louth & Horncastle Conservative Association held thier Annual General Meeting tonight in the Trinity Centre, Louth.
A good turn out of Association members heard reports from the Managment Team and our Member of Parliament, Victoria Atkins. In what was an interesting and energetic speech, Victoria explained in detail what she had been upto over the past year and also laid out her future ambitions.
The biggest news of the night was the sad announcement that after two years incredible service and dedication, Jane Woodcock the Deputy Chairman Membership & Fundraising had decided to step down. David Andrews as Chairman thanked Jane on behalf of the Management team and Association for all her support and hard work.
Elections were then held for all positions on the Managment Team, with Marc Storer, Deputy Chairman Political for Lincolnshire Area Conservatives on hand to help officiate. Congratulations to the following appointments, both new and continuing.
Chairman: Cllr David Andrews
Deputy Chairman Political: Cllr Will Grover
Deputy Chairman Membership & Fundraising: Cllr Dan Turner
Treasurer Mrs Bridget Harris
Association Officer: Colin Matthews
Association Officer: Tom Kemp
The quartely draw of the 200 club was also held, with 4 lucky winners selected at random by Victoria Atkins MP.
