The theme for this year’s National Apprenticeship Week is that an apprenticeship can take you anywhere, as a growing number of young people in Louth & Horncastle are looking to an apprenticeship as a worthwhile alternative to university.

“It is great news that over 4,000 apprentices have started since May 2010 in the constituency of Louth & Horncastle.
We must help our young people get the skills that they need to get on in life and that is why I support the Government’s commitment to create 3 million apprenticeships by 2020.
Apprenticeships are an excellent route in to many professions, and my support for them forms part of my wider campaign to improve the life chances and opportunities of our young people in Louth & Horncastle.
Later this year, I will host a Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair in the constituency to help bring jobs and training opportunities to local residents.
I congratulate those young people who have started this journey and every college and business locally that has taken on an apprentice.
Should anyone wish to contact me regarding apprenticeship opportunities in the area please email [email protected] ”
